The 1967 912 was a commission that we helped the new owner realize a lifelong dream of a bespoke 911 hotrod. We worked together from the initial consultation all the way through to the finished product.
Monterey Car Week was the official debut for the car and Concours on the Avenue in downtown Carmel was its first event. Although the car was not being judged it earned a great deal praise and admiration for the new owner, which we were grateful for. The following day the car was being shown at McCalls Motorworks Revival, which is always a great nite and the unofficial kickoff party for the weeks goings on. The event was such a success that the following day was needed as recovery period!
Friday was the 3rd event of the week, the PCA sponsored Werks Reunion being held for the second year in their new location at the Corral di Tierra Country Club. We had another fantastic day taking in the sights and catching up with friends through out the day.
On September 8 2018 the Bahama Orange hotrod won 1st in its class at the PCA San Diego Region Concours, congratulations Mike!
